Where do I apply for a Unit 6 permit?
Through the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks. Call us if you need help with the application timing — non-resident turkey permits have specific windows.
Solo hunters welcome?
Absolutely. We take groups of 1–6 hunters for spring turkey.
What kind of shotgun?
12 or 20 gauge with a tight choke. Turkey loads in #4, #5, or #6 shot work well — call us if you want a recommendation.
What's the season like in Kansas?
Kansas Rio turkey season usually runs through April into May, with specific opening dates set annually. Confirm with us when you book.
